InkCase Project

InkCase is an E Ink smart case for iPhone . It’s large E Ink screen allows to display photos, to-do lists, read e-books, news articles and also assists in taking selfies. InkCase comes equipped with an inbuilt battery, storage space, Bluetooth connectivity and is designed to be drop-proof and waterproof.

The most important part of this project is how will people use InkCase. I redesigned a new UX and interface for the 4.3 and 5.4 inches e-ink screen display.

Beside 4.3 and 5.4 inches 16-level greyscale screen, InkCase also has other option - InkCase IVY - which much smaller and the mono color e-ink display screen. Also, I developed a special pixel font for this device.
